The Lake at Barston is now well known
for its popular tribute shows since they were introduced in January 2004.
They are held regularly on Friday nights, sometimes Saturdays and all over the
Christmas period. The tributes that we use are all professional
performers with lots of experience and are thoroughly checked and
recommended by various agents to ensure the highest standards for this
kind of event. The wide range of artists can be seen below and one
of these evenings would be ideal for any occasion, a casual night out, a
celebratory meal for a birthday or anniversary or maybe even a hen night?
We accommodate up to 200 people and your table will be set up according to
your party size although if it just for two people we may pair you up with
another couple to make a table of four, if you would prefer a table of
two, you can request this and we will try our best to accommodate.
All tributes are selected for there suitability for all ages and although
not designed to be suitable for children, we do understand that parents
may want children to attend, in which case they will be allowed if in
small numbers, but parents must be sympathetic to other guests by asking
children to remain seated throughout the evening.
All of our shows include a three course
meal and although a restricted menu we do offer a choice of starters, mains and
desserts. Please check the menu for the evening before booking to ensure
that the choices on offer are suitable for all of your guests as we cannot offer
any alternatives. A typical itinerary for the evening would be arrive at 7
- 7.30pm, the meal will be served from 8.00 - 9.30pm and the show will start at
10pm. Some artists will do a straight 1 hour set while others will do two
45 minute sets and the show will be followed by dancing and bar service till
1am. We suggest that you have your travel home arranged in advance and if
using a taxi service ask for the Lake at Barston or West Midlands Golf Club (B92
0LB / B92 0LJ). The dress code for the evening is casual but smart.
(Jeans are allowed if smart and clean but no trainers please) Fancy dress
is also welcomed.
Please note that when calling to book a
tribute night, you will be asked for full payment, however if it is for a large
party, we will ask for a deposit of £5pp and accept the full payment one week
after the initial booking. Ticket prices do not include a service charge
and any gratuities given on the night will be shared equally between all of the
staff working (including the kitchen staff) and although not essential would be
very much appreciated.
Please also be aware that the room does
include 4 pillars and some tables may be slightly restricted by the pillars.
We do however, always try to give everyone in the room a clear view.
